Firestone Complete Auto Care

Had an oil change done on my truck. After driving about 1000k miles the check engine light came on. Took out the paperwork and saw that they had put in a lower viscosity oil and 2 extra quarts! Took it to my dealership. They took pictures of the milky oil and metal flakes in the oil and said that my engine failure was caused by the wrong oil and extra quarts. In short the engine is shot! A new one costs over 14k! Filed a claim with their corporate and of course they denied the claim. Lol. I now have an attorney to fight it. I will update this post for everyone after court, to let you know the outcome. Just know you can sue in Michigan for double damages under MVSR when a place damages your vehicle.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful at the front desk in dealing with us and helping us plan our schedule through this. Lewis made it all possible and stayed later to make it happen. Their kindness to travelers should be rewarded. All companies wish they could have this sort of staff representing them. Thank you.

I go here for absolutely anything I need for my car. The service here is beyond incredible and they’re extremely honest about what they believe in their humble opinion what actually needs to be done to make your car drivable if you’re falling on a budget. Absolutely love this fire stone on east here on street will be going here for as long as I live in southern Michigan.

Service Advisor Steven McArthur was super nice and provided professional service for me. The technician, Dalton, also gave a detailed and clear explanation, along with a video of my car inspection. I truly appreciated their excellent service and communication.

All of the individuals at the shop were very professional and did a great job installing new shocks, aligning the car, replacing brake fluid, and greasing the brakes. They were very honest in their assessment of the car (i.e. recommended greasing the brakes vs. replacing them). No complaints!
